Sport Recognition Awards

Sport Oakville is pleased to announce the  Third Annual Oakville Sport Recognition Awards on Saturday, October 30, 2010!

The 2010 Sport Recognition Awards have been designed to recognize and celebrate the excellence, perseverance and dedication of our athletes, teams, coaches and volunteers in the areas of sport development, performance and contribution to Oakville’s community.

Sport Oakville is also pleased to announce partnering with the Town of Oakville's "Make Your Move" for the Coaches' Award.  In addition to the criteria listed in the attached information flyer, nominees create a healthy and welcoming environment which helps players feel included and valued while building on their self-confidence and self-esteem. 

The Sport Recognition Awards will be presented at a civic reception to be held in the Atrium at Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road, on Saturday October 30, 2010 from 2-4 pm.  Following the awards presentation will be a reception with light refreshments.

As a member of Sport Oakville, you are invited to nominate individuals and/or teams from your organization.

Nominations are due no later than Friday, October 1.   For further information, please refer to the attached flyer and nomination forms.
